Power supply was restored in Stanytsia Luhanska and nearby villages on May 12 night, head of Luhansk Region Military Civil administration Hennadiy Moskal has reported.

“There is power and tap water supply in the district, but mobile cell
service has been unstable. We have not observed power outage
emergencies,” says a report posted on the Moskal website on May 13.

The region was more or less quiet in the past 24 hours, he said.

Hostilities were reported from the Schastia area; the outskirts of
that town came under grenade launcher and automatic weapon fire several
times. No serious harm was done, and there was no information about
possible casualties.

“The guns were silent in other traditional hotbeds of the region
[Triokhizbenka, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troyitske, Katerynivka and
Orikhove],” the report said.

Moskal reported in the evening of May 12 that power supply to
Stanytsia Luhanska and adjoining populated areas was discontinued on the
territory of Luhansk region uncontrolled by Kyiv and tap water supply
was threatened to be stopped as a countermeasure.
