Moscow - Russia is equally interested in developing cooperation with both the East and the West, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“I would like to point out in particular that Russia’s expanding economic interaction with the Asia-Pacific region states is long-term and strategic in nature, and we expect that this will promote development of such regions as Siberia and the Far East. At the same time, we are equally interested in developing interaction and cooperation with both the East and the West,” Putin said while accepting credentials from foreign ambassadors on Nov. 19.
