MOSCOW - Russia would accept either money or the delivery of two Mistral helicopter carriers to resolve a dispute with France, a Kremlin official said on Dec. 8. France has suspended indefinitely the delivery of the first of the two warships, citing the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The Mistral-class assault warship Sevastopol, the second of two mammoth Mistral helicopter carriers, is docked on Nov. 26, 2014 in the western French port of Saint-Nazaire after being taken from its dry dock on Nov. 20.
