Russia is continuing to supply weapons and personnel to eastern Ukraine through the sections of the state border controlled by militants, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) has reported on its Facebook page.

In addition, according to the report, the units of the ATO forces still come under fire from Russian territory.

“The fighters’ main efforts are focused on preventing further
advancement of the ATO forces deep into the territory of Donetsk and
Luhansk regions. Terrorists are well aware that this will inevitably
lead to the final isolation of their groups from supplies. They continue
to take measures to keep control of Donetsk, Horlivka, Yasynuvata,
Shakhtarsk, and Yenakiyeve,” reads the report.

“The activity of professionally trained terrorist, subversive and
reconnaissance groups was recorded. Bandits continue illegal seizures of
important facilities of the Donbas infrastructure. They destroy
facilities that provide civilians with gas, water, and electricity.
Significant damage is caused especially to road and rail routes that are
mined by terrorists,” the press center reported.
