Budapest - Russia and Hungary have agreed on the principles for renewing a gas supply contract that expires in 2015, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said following talks with President Vladimir Putin.
Orban said that he and Putin discussed the gas agreement that was signed in 1996 and resolved the problem. There is political agreement and only technical issues need to be worked out, the prime minister said.
