MOSCOW - The problem of the separation of the conflicting parties in eastern Ukraine is about to be resolved, says German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

“The separation of the parties is of primary importance, and we can say that we are quite close to resolving this issue,” Steinmeier said at a press conference following negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on Nov. 17.

“We should see to it now that the military officials responsible for this sign this document,” Steinmeier said.
