BRUSSELS - NATO and Slovenia have expressed their concern over the violation of cease fire in Ukraine's east.
“We expressed concerns about the developments in Ukraine. The violation of the cease-fire,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said after a meeting with Prime Minister of Slovenia Miro Cerar.
The two officials also discussed the situation in the Western Balkans and praised the role of Slovenia in building relations between the region and the rest of Europe.
“We addressed the developments in the Western Balkans and I commended the Prime Minister for the role and the efforts that Slovenia is making in the region. And Slovenia is playing an important role in trying to build a bond between the Western Balkans and the rest of Europe, and also the Transatlantic cooperation,” the secretary general said.
