The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered an alternative bill on repealing the law the law on special self-government procedures in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts initiated by parliamentary speaker Oleksandr Turchynov.
The bill was registered on Nov. 4, and its text has not yet been posted on the Rada website.
It was reported earlier that a bill with the same title had been submitted by unaffiliated parliamentarian Oleh Liashko. Its text had not been posted on the Rada website either.
The previous composition of the Rada has to convene for an extraordinary meeting to consider the bills. Elections to the 8th Rada were held on Oct. 26, but the new Rada lineup has not yet been formed.
