Two children were killed and four more were injured after a shell hit the stadium near School No. 63 in Donetsk (near the airport) on Nov. 5 evening, SCM communications director Natalia Yemchenko has said.

“Thirty minutes ago, a shell hit the stadium near School No. 63 in Donetsk (near the airport). We have just learned this from a volunteer of the Let’s Help humanitarian headquarters who was next to the scene. Many children were at the stadium at that time. Now children are being brought to the school, and ambulances are coming. According to our person, there are victims among children and adults,” she wrote on her page on Facebook.

Yemchenko wrote later that two children, including an eighth-grader and an 18-year-old graduate of this school, had been killed and that three 17-year-olds and a 21-year-old man had been injured.
