Since the start of collecting military fees, from August 2014, the national budget of Ukraine had received almost Hr 1.4 billion, Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Ihor Bilous has said.
“It has been estimated that since the beginning of military fee collection the budget has received almost Hr 1.4 billion,” he wrote on his page on Facebook.
Bilous previously reported that military fee payments in August amounted to Hr 289.8 million, in September – Hr 523 million, and in October – Hr 544 million.
As reported, in late July 2014 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine accepted the proposal of the Cabinet to introduce a temporary, until Jan. 1, 2015, 1.5 percent national “military fee”.
However, the Finance Ministry board proposed the extension of military fees, as well as other laws providing income to the national budget in the current year for 2015.
