The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not confirmed the information that the Donetsk People's Republic has taken some Ukrainian positions in Maryinka, Donetsk Oblast.

“I don’t confirm that. Certain movements indeed occurred during the action, but our positions are held as before,” Pavlo Omelchenko, press officer for the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said on 112 television channel, commenting on the information that militia have taken over some of the Ukrainian positions in Maryinka.
