The movement of suburban diesel trains on the Svatove-Kupiansk and Svatove-Venherivka in Luhansk region was resumed on Nov. 27 thanks to delivery of fuel to Donetsk railways, the press service of the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) has told Interfax-Ukraine.

As reported, referring to Head of Luhansk Regional Administration Hennadiy Moskal, on Nov. 26 six suburban diesel trains stopped moving in Luhansk region on the Svatove-Kupiansk and Svatove-Venherivka routes due to the absence of fuel due to the stoppage of financing of Donetsk railways.

In turn, Ukrzaliznytsia said that the state financing of Donetsk railways has not been stopped, especially on the territories under control of Ukraine. Ukrzaliznytsia confirmed problems with fuel at Donetsk railways, although the administration said that Ukrzaliznytsia Deputy Head Oleksandr Zarodov has signed the relevant resolution and tankers with fuel will be sent to the railways.
