The unemployment rate in Donetsk region has declined, Donetsk Regional Administration's press service reported with reference to its regional economic department on Nov. 7.
“As of Oct. 1, 2014, there were 30,400 registered jobless people in the region, which was 7.9 percent down from the beginning of the year,” the administration said.
As of Oct. 1, there were 15 candidates per one job opening in the region, the local authorities reported.
The average wage per employee working on a full-time basis in September 2014 grew by 19.9 percent from August 2014 but fell by 6.2 percent from September 2013.
Te total sum of the wage backlog in the region is estimated at Hr 640 million as of today.
