Moscow – U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Tefft has said he knows nothing about U.S. President Barack Obama's possible visit to Moscow in May 2015.

When asked by Interfax whether the U.S. president planned to travel to the Russian capital in May, the ambassador said, as far as he knew, there were no such plans.

Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said in December that Moscow had already started to send out invitations to foreign leaders, including the U.S. president, to attend commemorations of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
