You're reading: Volunteer battalion commanders to meet with Senator McCain

Commander of Donbas volunteer battalion Semen Semenchenko, commander of Dnipro volunteer battalion Yuriy Bereza and commander of Myrotvorets volunteer battalion Andriy Teteruk, who were elected as MPs, have left for Washington to meet with Republican Senator John McCain.

“Three MPs have departed for a day to Washington to meet with Senator John McCain,” Semenchenko wrote on his Facebook page.

He did not say who paid for the battalion commanders’ trip.

Semenchenko was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada of the
eighth convocation from the Samopomich Union, Bereza and Teteruk will
represent the People’s Front in parliament.
