YEREVAN - Armenia is not afraid to recognize independence of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has said.
“This is not about fear. One has to remember that this (recognition) is a serious question, which cannot be resolved with emotional actions,” Nalbandian told the press on Monday.
“We are not afraid of anything. The international community shares our view,” the foreign minister said.
As to whether Moscow put pressure on Yerevan in the question of recognition of the NKR, Nalbandian said, “This is idle talk.”
