Moscow, June 22 (Interfax) - The European Union is looking for routes to import natural gas from Russia that would bypass Belarus, and is trying to find out whether Belarus has carried out its threat on Tuesday to cut gas transit through its territory over a price dispute with Russia, the European Commission Delegation in Moscow said.
The European Commission is also checking how much the possible interruption in supplies would affect the EU, delegation spokesman Denis Daniilidis told Interfax.
