HELSINKI, May 12 - Finland's parliament on Wednesday approved as expected a 1.6 billion euro ($2 billion) loan for Greece, part of the European Union and International Monetary Fund's bailout package for debt-ridden Athens.
The four-party coalition government carried the vote 108-63, with two abstentions and 26 absent, a parliament spokesman said.
Finland’s contribution is part of the total 110 billion euros pledged by the EU and IMF in aid to Greece.
