WASHINGTON, May 17 (Reuters) - Iran's reported agreement with mediators Brazil and Turkey to send some of its uranium abroad was a "potentially good development," a top U.S. military official said on Monday, May 17.
U.S. Admiral James Stavridis, Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, told reporters in Washington that the reported deal was "an example of what we all hope for, which is a diplomatic system that encourages good behavior on the part of the Iranian regime."
But he added: "Obviously we have a million miles to go."
