Russian hopes that representatives of all the countries concerned will attend a gas summit scheduled to take place in Moscow on January 17.
“We are hopeful that all those interested in securing a solution to the [gas] problem as soon as possible will come to the summit on Saturday,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a news conference in Moscow on Friday.
“Both European Union members and countries such as Serbia that are also facing problems with their gas supplies have been invited to the summit,” he said.
