LONDON, July 12 (Reuters) - Maintenance staff on the London Underground have suspended plans to hold a 48-hour strike this week while they consider an improved pay offer, the Rail Maritime and Transport (RMT) union said on Monday.
The 48-hour stoppage had been due to begin on Wednesday evening.
RMT union members employed by Tube Lines on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly underground lines staged a strike last month over the dispute.
