HONG KONG - The Malaysian government released on March 8 the most comprehensive report to date on the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a Boeing 777 jetliner one year ago, revealing for the first time that the pilot and co-pilot of the plane had displayed no discernible signs of distress before the ill-fated flight and that records showed that a battery for one of the plane’s underwater locator beacons had expired.
