Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has said that next year in the European Union will be a year of the Eastern Partnership initiative.
"Next year, under the presidency of Hungary and Poland, of course, will be the year of the Eastern Partnership, because both countries believe that this project is of a high priority," he said at a press conference in Sopot, Poland, on Monday after the Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers Informal Meeting.
The Eastern Partnership was initiated by Poland and Sweden and established at a summit in Prague last year. Its participants are Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
