LONDON, May 11 (Reuters) - Talks between the opposition Conservatives and Liberal Democrats ended on Tuesday, May 11, with both parties saying they would report back to their party on a possible deal to form Britain's new government.

Officials from both parties declined to say whether a power-sharing deal had been agreed.

"We have completed our discussions in a good atmosphere and are now returning to report back to Nick Clegg and our parliamentary colleagues," Lib Dem negotiator Danny Alexander told reporters.

Conservative negotiator William Hague said he would take back recommendations to his colleagues.
