A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death at school for excluded pupils in south London, police said on Friday.

Emergency services were called shortly before 9 a.m. to the Park Campus in West Norwood, a newly built co-educational pupil referral unit.

The 15-year-old was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead shortly after arrival.

A second teenager was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his arm. Scotland Yard said they had arrested three people.

"This is a terrible tragedy and the whole school is in shock," said Park Campus head Richard Leonard.

"We will be providing all the support we can to pupils and their families as the school community tries to come to terms with this awful loss."
