BANGKOK, May 4 (Reuters) - Anti-government protesters in Thailand are likely to make a counter-offer to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's proposal for a Nov. 14 election, a co-leader of the movement told Reuters on Tuesday.

"The outcome of the meeting was positive but we will likely be making some suggestions and offers to the prime minister as well," Jaran Dittapichai said after a meeting with more than 20 other leaders of the "red shirt" protest movement.

Asked if the group will leave their fortified encampment in central Bangkok by Wednesday, he said: "No, no, not yet. We cannot just leave immediately."
Abhisit announced a five-point reconciliation "road map" late on Monday, which he said would likely result in polls on Nov. 14 — more than a year ahead of the expiry of his term — if all sides agreed.
