LONDON (Reuters) - Three people were killed in an apparent gas explosion at a flat in Edinburgh on Wednesday, emergency services said.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said ambulance, fire and police services were called to an address in the Scottish capital on Wednesday afternoon.
He said there were "three confirmed fatalities on scene" and an injured woman was taken to hospital. He had no further details.
A police spokeswoman said the incident was at an Edinburgh flat. The cause was uncertain, but it "looks like a gas explosion," she said.
