U.S. and European Union specialists have praised the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) technical commission's investigation into the Smolensk plane crash of April 10 which killed Polish President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others, according to IAC Chairperson Tatyana Anodina said.

"We value the fact that we have felt support from our partners from the U.S. and European Union countries from the very beginning of the investigation, and they do not doubt the commission’s independence, impartiality, and professionalism," Anodina said at a press conference at the Interfax main office on Wednesday.

"Polish specialists have been participating in all aspects of the investigation since the very first day, and they have had access to all the essential materials, both at the crash site and during the analysis of the black boxes," she said.

"There is no professional or legal misunderstanding," Anodina said.
