WASHINGTON, May 17 (Reuters) - The United States would engage Iran if Tehran addressed the concerns of the international community about its nuclear program, State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said on Monday.
"We remain prepared to engage Iran anywhere, anytime, provided Iran is prepared to address the international community’s concerns about its nuclear program. It is Iran that has failed to do that for the past many months," he said. The United States continues to pursue U.N. sanctions against Iran, Crowley said.
