Google created a website and formed a committee of Internet experts to help the company handle requests from European residents asserting their new "right to be forgotten" online.

Earlier this month, Europe's top court ruled that people can ask Internet search engines to remove links to content that is inadequate, irrelevant or could be deemed to infringe on their right to privacy.
