LONDON - Financial-services companies in the UK saw their business in the third quarter of this year grow at the fastest rate since 2007, providing a boost to their profits, a survey shows.

A survey by employers' group the Confederation of British Industry and financial-services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, found 60% of firms reported business volumes going up, with 11% saying they went down.
