On the eve of International Women’s Day on March 8, the Kyiv Post has tracked down the capital’s best flower shops, which can make stunning bouquets for a range of prices.

Kvitkova Vanil (Flower Vanilla)

Kvitkova Vanil is a floristic studio founded in 1998 by Natalia Nazarenko and Oksana Snizhna. The studio has an impressive client portfolio that includes the Lexus, Hayat, Intercontinental and Fairmont hotels. The studio often features its bouquets in fashion magazines – a recently participated in a photoshoot for the AINA GASSE Fashion Week 2016 lookbook.

Kvitkova Vanil offers fancy bouquets from Hr 1,200 to Hr 7,900. They have two stores in the city center, at 13/42 Saksagansko Street, and at 15 Lva Tolstogo Street.


Fiori Flower Company

Fiori offers various bouquets for birthdays, weddings and other events, as well as tailor-made flower arrangements. The company has three outlets in Kyiv, at the Mandarin Plaza shopping mall, the Domosphera mall and a private shop at 7/14 Academic Bogomolets Street. Fiori also offers free delivery in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa. Bouquets can be ordered from 9 a.m. till 10 p.m. seven days a week. The average price for a flower arrangement is Hr 3,000, while prices vary depending on flowers used.


Buket– Express

Buket- Express is an online store that sells bouquets, “soft toys” made of flowers, and flower baskets. The company offers unusual services like providing real butterflies, and printing inscriptions and images on flowers, glowing herbs covered with neon paint, and flower delivery by musicians singing serenades.

The cost of a single rose is Hr 47, while prices for bouquets start from Hr 228 and run to Hr 5,820. Buket- Express sells its flower in all Ukrainian big cities, and has four shops in Kyiv. The one at 1/3 Desyatynna has a real time web-camera so clients can watch how the bouquets are made.


Bon Kviton

Bon Kviton is a European style flower shop that offers various bouquets made of all kinds of plants – from traditional roses to succulents. Bon Kviton’s shop is located at 48A Antonovycha Street. The shop doesn’t have an official website, but pictures of all its bouquets can be found on its Facebook page and Instagram. To order a bouquet, call 066 269 1652. Bon Kviton also decorates premises for marriage ceremonies and other events. The average price of a bouquet is Hr 350.


Flor people

Flor people florists’ studio makes bouquets from flowers imported from Colombia, Ecuador and the Netherlands. The company offers a range of services, including delivery of individual bouquets, thematic designs for parties and weddings, as well as “green walls” – the decoration of walls with flowers and greenery. The studio has a shop in the Protasov Business Center at 2/1 Grinchenko Street. Prices range from Hr 283 for a small bouquet-complement to Hr 6,792 for a bouquet with 101 pink roses and phlox.


Linden Linden

Linden Linden is a floristic studio that offers tailor-made bouquets from Hr 450 to 1290. The studio doesn’t have the shop in Kyiv, so all the bouquets are individually delivered to the customer for additional payment of Hr 45. To order a delivery, fill in this Google form or to call +38 096 55 44 616. Various choice of the bouquets is available at studio’s Facebook page and Instagram.


Kvitlyandia

Kvitlyandia is an online store that sells flowers to individuals, companies and event-agencies. The company also offers a private decorating service for weddings and other celebrations. Kvitlyandia makes various bouquets from tulips, chamomile and roses that can be accompanied with chocolate, coffee, cards and confectionaries. The price of a bouquet varies from Hr 180 to Hr 1,900, depending on the flowers used.

Kvitlyandia has an office in the Kreschatyk-Plaza business center at 19A Kreschatyk Street, where customers can pick up bouquets they order. Delivery from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. costs Hr 50, and after 9 p.m. – Hr 100.
