“Nu.” Paintings by Borys Fircak
With his “Nu” exhibition, artist Borys Fircak demonstrates his unusual approach to nu art. The naked female body in the works of Borys Fircak is basically a method that helps organize artistic confusion. It’s a special tuning fork that provokes and helps find a perfect and sensual image. By the way, Fircak is considered one of the most productive artists in Ukaine – this is already his fourth show this year.

This time a symbolist created faceless woman figures not to show the ecstasy of a body but to symbolize its eternal femininity.

They outlined the shadow of the bridge above the river in the Carpathian Mountains. The next day they waited until the real shadow would match the drawn one. He put together antique figures from Ukrainian vertep (a traditional Christmas installation) with works of artist Ihor Yanovych, added some album covers of Led Zeppelin made by Andy Warhol, and topped it up with Soviet magazines. All exhibits are divided by themes: architecture and music, the sacred and money, childhood.
