Old Car Land exhibition

Admirers of classic or simply old automobiles will be able to view some unique models at the Old Car Land exhibition on April 22-24 at the Ukrainian Museum of Aviation. The exhibition also features motorbikes, mopeds, buses, trucks and bikes, as well as retro domestic appliances and cameras.

5 VYMIR

Popular Ukrainian indie-rock band 5 VYMIR takes to the stage in Kyiv to perform their new song “Vichnist” (“Eternity”), along with old hits. Tickets are available at Karabas.com.

An exhibition of more than 250,000 of tulips planted in a special display will be open to visitors on April 20 at Pechersk landscape park. The entrance fee is Hr 30. Entrance for pensioners and children under six is free.

Street Food Festival

Street Food Festival will be held at the Art Zavod Platforma art center on April 16-17. Various types of street food will be available The festival has a tea zone, where one can learn how to make a cup of tea in traditional Chinese, Indian and Japanese manner. The entrance fee is Hr 50.

Kyiv International Short Film Festival

The fifth annual Kyiv International Short Film Festival opens its doors on April 20-24 at the Kinopanorama, Cinema House and Lira cinemas in Kyiv. The festival’s program includes screenings of a choice selection of Ukrainian and foreign short films. Tickets for each screening cost Hr 25, while a festival ticket can be bought at www.concert.ua for Hr 200.

Ukrainian artisans will present their creations, including ornaments crafted with beads and polymer clay, embroidery, patchwork and handmade dolls, at the International Exhibition Center on April 15 – 17.
