Lyapis Trubetskoy’s swan song

The most famous band of Belarus, whose music is prohibited in their own country, is ready to hit the Ukrainian stage for the last time on their Happy End Tour. The frontman Sergei Mikhalok said the band will break up this year. Their song Voyiny Sveta (Fighters of Light) became a favorite anthem of the Euromaidan Revolution.

‘Taxi Driver’

Taxi Driver is an American production psychological thriller directed by the talented Martin Scorsese in 1976. The scene is nighttime New York City which chronicles the deterioration of a lonely U.S. Marine who is depressed after being discharged. The film was cited as one of the greatest films of all times by many critics.

Organic Barbecue

Organika Ukraina, a promoter of organic products, is hosting a family event to educate people about the benefits of eating wholesome food. Visitors will be treated to food made by the best Ukrainian producers. A charity lottery also will be held for the benefit of Ukrainian forces in eastern Ukraine.

Vyshyvanka Parade

Dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine, the parade will showcase Ukrainian culture, and embroidered national clothes are no exception. The public display of embroidery, or vyshyvankas, starts at Kontraktova Square in Podil. The parade also includes exhibitions and a contest for the best vyshyvanka.

Tales of ancient Kyiv

This international festival will gather thousands of visitors as well as participants from Ukraine and Europe. Immerse yourself into the ancient culture of Ukraine’s ancestors with a program that includes an archery tournament, trade fair, fire show, ethno-disco and of course a horse-riding performance.

Dynamo Kyiv vs. Illichivets Mariupol

Dynamo Kyiv will face Illichivets Mariupol at the Olympic Stadium on match day 4 of the Ukrainian Premier League. At the last moment the match was transferred from Mariupol to the capital because of the
​tense situation ​in eastern Ukraine. Illichivets had two play its two previous home matches in other cities (Odessa, Lutsk) as well.

Anti-war posters

The fifth exhibition of “The Voice of Peace” will present anti-war posters of artists from more than 45 countries who supported Ukraine. Some of the works have already been shown in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and Belgium.
