On Feb. 11, Ukrainian soft rock band Tokio will perform to celebrate the birthday of the group’s front man Yaroslav Maly. Fans will hear newer dynamic, as well as the group’s older, softer hits.

Inspiring films fest
This two-day festival features Ukrainian and foreign short movies that organizers deem inspirational. The Ukraine-produced films on the list include “Big Man,” “Electroman,” “Finger,” “Guide,” and more. Also, movies by Danish, Serbian, German, Spanish, and Dutch directors are scheduled. All screenings are in the original language with Ukrainian subtitles.

Maria Prymachenko Exhibition
The fantastic world of images in Maria Prymachenko’s art is a cultural phenomenon that combines the traditions of folk art and personal talent. The show’s purpose is to present the artist’s works in opposition to Soviet reality.
