Some 1,000 timeless creations gathered from the collections of 35 eminent Ukrainian institutions are all under one roof at Mystetskyi Arsenal. The pan-Ukrainian art project Great and Grand is an event dedicated to the commemoration of the 1,025th Anniversary of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus.
Great and Grand seeks to examine the civilizing effect of Christendom on the development of Ukrainian culture and to demonstrate how the modern individual – embracing the history reflected in this sublime artistic legacy – views themselves in it.
