Esthetic Education

One of the most original Ukrainian bands, Esthetic Education will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a concert at UA Beach Club. The band was founded in 2004 by two ex-members of Okean Elzy, guitarist Yury Khustochka and keyboard player Dmitriy Shurov, and Belgian vocalist, Louis Franck. Same year the band released its debut ablum “Face Reading.” Their Western-European sound brought a breath of fresh air into the local music scene and in 2005 the band opened for Moby in Kyiv. The band’s song “Unbelievable became the soundtrack for Ukrainian movie “Orangelove” and in 2007 the band released its second studio album “Werewolf” recorded at Brick Lane Studio in London. Their last big show, “Antenna,” took place in 2007 and after such a long break, we can expect more surprises from the band.
