August and September are months when it was hard to walk through a Kyiv park on weekends without encountering a wedding party. It's a good time for weddings -- and wedding photography.
Check out the fabulous, funny and weird wedding photos of couples who got married in Kyiv in the past months.
Maryna and Yuriy got married on Aug. 23 in Kyiv. They chose Vozdvyzhenka, the “millionaires’ ghost town,” as a location for wedding photos.

They were not alone in this choice. Roman and Tetyana got a little more creative at their wedding on Aug. 7.

Hedgehog as a wedding accessory? We say yes to that trend. So did Iryna and Oleh, who got married on Aug. 10.

Maxym and Yulia make use of sunflowers at their wedding in August. Van Gogh fans or just shy? We’ll never know.

Some brides will do anything just to make their wedding portraits less cliche, like getting in a bathtub fully dressed. Or is that a cliche?

Iryna and Noah got their wedding on Sept. 21. In Ukrainian tradition, stepping on the rushnyk (decorative towel) decides who will be head of the family. Judging from the bride’s face, she won.

More of Iryna and Noah’s wedding. Long veils are less common in Ukraine comparing to Western weddings.

Olga and Viktor went for white and red combination at their wedding day this September. Safe and stylish, we say.
