On Oct. 27, Ukraine’s Constitutional Court declared unconstitutional one of Ukraine’s key anti-corruption achievements, the online register of assets that top-officials were obliged to reveal. This means not only the closure of more than a hundred criminal cases against corrupt top officials, but also the legalization of illegal assets obtained after 2014 as well as puts public control over the officials in question.
