Russian-terrorist forces continue blatantly violating the ceasefire imposed by the Minsk Agreements by firing at ATO forces’ positions along the entire line of contact.
In the Donetsk sector, insurgents fired at ATO forces positions using heavy infantry weapons, including “banned” 120-mm caliber mortars. Insurgents employed snipers and infantry firing groups in the vicinity of Pisky, Opytne, Avdiivka, Kirove, Leninske,Mariinka, and Krasnohorivka. We have spotted several armored terrorist groups (a total of 20 tanks and armored fighting vehicles) operating as “roaming firing units” between Krasnohorivka and Opytne, and shelling the ATO forces.
In the Seaside [Mariupol] sector, insurgents used small arms, mortars, and 122-mm artillery systems.
In the Luhansk sector, pro-Russian terrorists used armored vehicles and artillery to shell the ATO forces. They delivered precision fire from 122-mm artillery, tanks, and infantry fighting vehicles in the vicinity of Krymske, Shchastia, Sokoniki, and Stanytsia Luhanska. Ukrainian troops near Novotoshkivske, Zolote, and Donetske were also shelled by the enemy’s maneuvering armored groups, ZU-23-2 mobile anti-aircraft autocannons, and 122-mm artillery. Illegal armed gangs have also become more active in these areas.
All insurgent units operating in the vicinity of the Bakhmut highway, Stakhanov, Alchevsk, and other settlements north of the Donetsk-Luhansk highway have moved under the “central military command” of the LNR terrorist organization [Luhansk People’s Republic]. Manpower and equipment are accumulating at the flank positions in the area near the Zholobok – Slovianoserbsk stretch and northeast of Pervomaisk. 17 armored vehicles and trucks have been transferred into the area.
Regrouping of terrorist manpower and equipment continues between Yasynuvata andHorlivka. Two firing units operating 122-mm artillery have been moved to this area through Panteleymonivka (eight D-30 howitzers), while 12 tanks and armored combat vehicles were transferred through Yenakijeve.
