I have always been passionate about the power of technologies to transform the real world. In 2004, when I moved from Paris to San Francisco, it was at the end of the big internet bubble of 2000/2001. Soon after, not only did the economy come back strong, but the tech industry also became even stronger. And during that time of crisis, I witnessed how technologies boosted everything: the economy, society, creativity and the city of San Francisco itself. The region was full of energy and passion, and people believed in the power of technology to transform the world.
