John Vinocur: Germany draws a pink line on Ukraine

Berthold Kohler, the chief editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, has come up with a bull’s-eye phrase to describe Europe’s firmness in dealing with Russian aggression in Ukraine. German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier had taken it on himself to draw a "pink line" of containment, Mr. Kohler wrote in a recent commentary.
