Leonid Bershidsky: Coca-Cola put Crimea on the map, then took it off
The updated map of Russia published by Coca-Cola Russia on its Vkontakte page on Jan. 5 includes Crimea. Before, the map didn't include the annexed peninsula which made Russian social media users complain. The company updated the map but had to remove it completely after Ukrainian users got infuriated.
It's tough these days to be a multinational consumer goods company doing business in both Ukraine and Russia.
