In the late evening of Feb. 2, Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky put into action a decision of the National Security and Defence Council to sanction Taras Kozak, an MP from the pro-Russian Opposition Platform for Life, and his TV channels ZIK, 112, and NewsOne. Taras Kozak is an ally of Viktor Medvedchuk, another Opposition Platform for Life MP and Vladimir Putin’s number one man in Ukraine.
