Orange reflections on Egypt

Egyptians have freed themselves of a tyrant. They felt the headiness of their own power, but largely kept it peacefully harnessed. They deserve celebration. Yet, watching the jubilation on the streets of Cairo and the gradual return to a new normalcy over the weekend reminded me of a more familiar popular uprising, and the comparisons are troubling.
