I first moved from Ukraine to the United States in April 2019, the day before Ukrainian voters elected TV comic Volodymyr Zelensky as the country’s new president. Little did I know that within less than six months, Zelensky would become a household name among Americans and a central figure in the impeachment of U.S. President Donald Trump.
