Peter Dickinson: Ukraine’s booming IT sector defies the coronavirus crisis

Employees of one of the largest Ukrainian IT companies, Genesis, work at their computers in the company’s Kyiv office. Genesis employs over 1,500 tech specialists across five countries. Most of the staffers are based in Ukraine.

While businesses around the world are counting the cost of a year disrupted by the unprecedented challenges of the COVID crisis, Ukraine’s IT sector continues to go from strength to strength. Recently released annual figures for the Ukrainian IT industry underline its world-beating performance.
