On June 21-24, Strasbourg saw the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. There, the issue of Ukraine was brought to the table. On June 23, the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination presented a report “The situation of Crimean Tatars,” which had been developed over three years. Following the parliamentary debate, PACE adopted Resolution 2387, “Human rights violations committed against Crimean Tatars in Crimea,” with 73 votes in favour, 17 votes against, and two abstentions.
