Bria Blessing will tour around America and Canada to help Donbas war victims

Dec. 1-18 Bria Blessing will tour around America and Canada with ‘Christmas with Bria’ tour. The raised funds will be donated to those suffered from the war in Donbas. The concert schedule and more information is available on the FB page.

Bria Blessing moved from the US to Ukraine 24 years ago. She has studied Ukrainian and loved Ukraine, its people and culture. In 2014 Bria was a finalist of song TV-show ‘Voice of the Country’.

‘Lobanovskiy Forever’ awarded at film festival in Milan

The documentary ‘Lobanovskiy forever’ by Anton Azarov received prestigious ‘Guirlande d’Honneur’ as best documentary movie at Sport Movies and TV – Milano International Ficts Fest.

‘Lobanovskiy Forever’ tells about the remarkable Ukrainian football coach, Valerii Lobanovskyi. The movie includes some unique archival footage and interviews of Ukrainian and foreign footballers, journalists, coaches and even presidents.

The film release is planned for Dec. 1.

Switzerland to liberalize visa regime for Ukraine

Nov. 22 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the agreement draft with the Federal Council of Switzerland on visa regime liberalization between the countries. After signing and approving the agreement citizens of Ukraine will be able to get Swiss visas on the simplified procedure.
The agreement regulates the conditions and order of the simplified visa issue procedure for Ukrainians, including multiple; extends categories of Ukrainian citizens who can go through the visa simplified procedure, and eliminates visa fee for certain categories of citizens of Ukraine.

Intercity train ‘Kyiv-Lviv’ to run to Przemysl

At the beginning of 2017 residents of Kyiv will be able to get to the Polish city of Przemysl by Intercity train ‘Kyiv-Lviv’. The route extend was discussed between representatives of the Verkhovna Rada transport committee and the Polish Sejm Infrastructure Commission.

Technically JSC ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ is ready for the route extending, however, the changes need to be coordinated with Ukrainian and Polish border and customs services, and the Polish railway enterprise as well.

The approximate ticket price is Hr 1,500-2,000.

Ukrainian Ball at Austrian Palais Eschenbach

Feb. 18 Ukrainian community in Austria invites to a grand Ukrainian Ball.

The program includes:
– polonaise and waltz performed by Viennese debutantes;
– performance of Ukrainian opera stars;
– Latin American and European dances;
– Ukrainian songs in the classic performance;
– charity auction;
– demonstration performances and master classes of Konstantin and Nadezhda Panchenko, 2016 Austrian champions on ballroom dancing.

Dress code: bow tie. The venue is Palais Eschenbach.
